Dedicated to helping clients achieve their event goals, she listens to their needs and works diligently to realize their visions. Sonia isn’t satisfied unless the event achieves her clients’ goals and provides an unparalleled attendee experience.

Sonia started in event marketing in 1989, and joined Freeman in 1995. She has earned her CEM designation, and is a member of both the Canadian Association of Exposition Management (CAEM) and the Professional Convention Management Association. She was recognized by CAEM as the Member of the Year in 2009, and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2011. Sonia has served clients like the Canadian Gift Association, Restaurants Canada, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

I see Freeman as the leader in the world of brand experiences. They’ve gotten to that place because they are as dedicated to their employees as they are to their clients and provide the training, tools, and vision to cultivate the next generation of leaders.
