General Manager, Montreal
Thinking globally is more important than ever as our world gets “smaller,” thanks to the connections we make — both as individuals and as professionals.
While Freeman has always focused on serving clients worldwide, it takes people like Danielle Lachapelle to build and grow those vital relationships. Since 2000, she has worked to ensure that sales, operations and administration have all worked together in providing solutions to Freeman’s international clientele.
Danielle works with many international associations and is familiar with a wide variety of cultures, enabling her to provide clients with strategic, consultative insights that they can use to strengthen their events and grow their businesses. In addition to her extensive international experience, she has even created and managed her own event — a health, beauty & well being show which was held at Palais des Congrés de Montréal.
“For me, the Freeman philosophy of make it personal℠ is a simple but powerful way of doing business. In working with customers around the world, I focus on establishing strong professional relationships and building trust. When you have those great connections and mutual respect, you can accomplish incredible things together.”

Before joining Freeman, Danielle worked for 13 years at Exposervice Standard (now GES) in Montreal as a show coordinator. In her role there, she established their first computerized order/billing system, set up the material handling department, assisted in creating booth designs, and developed ways (and products) to save money. Danielle also attended Université du Québec, where she studied Administration & Marketing.
