John oversees Freeman Audio Visual and Event Technology operations for all U.S. locations, including Alford Media. An event technology expert at heart, John is energized by Freeman’s unique ability to introduce clients to technology that enhances entertainment value, builds excitement, and engages audiences.

With 35+ years of experience, John understands where the industry has been and where it’s going. John started as a technician for AVW in 1984, a company which Freeman acquired in 1975 and rebranded to Freeman Audio Visual in 2008. He worked in a variety of operational and technical roles before being promoted to General Manager of the Dallas office in 1996. In 2000, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of the Texas region. John was then named Senior Vice President of Operations in 2003 and later named Executive Vice President. He is also a recipient of the Buck Freeman Award.

Even after more than three decades in the business, John is still inspired by how event technology creates truly amazing experiences for our clients and is inspired by the sense of pride to be able to deliver on that promise.
