Freeman announces new sales director in EMEA

Freeman, the leading global provider of brand experiences has appointed David Fisher to the role of sales director, custom build in EMEA.

Fisher brings over 20 years’ sales and sales management experience to the company, including a number of years spent specialising in the area of bespoke exhibition stands, where he has worked with a series of world-class brands. Throughout this time Fisher has successfully won new business, managed existing client relationships and led sales teams to exceed their targets.

Fisher also previously enjoyed an extensive career in commercial radio, eventually becoming managing director of Mercia FM in Coventry. This broad-ranging experience ensures Fisher has both an in-depth understanding of the sales function and specialised knowledge of the brand experience industry – a unique combination of skills that he leverages to create meaningful, long-lasting relationships with corporate exhibitor clients.

In a move designed to grow the company’s bespoke stand offering in the region, the custom build team has welcomed Lucy Clarke as business development manager. Most recently employed at ExCeL London and with experience working for top organisers including Informa, DMG and Messe Frankfurt, Clarke brings invaluable experience to the role. Existing team member Mark Woods has also recently been promoted from business development executive to business development manager.
