March 29, 2019 — In an ongoing effort to help its customers create the best live experiences, Freeman — the world’s leading brand experience company — has expanded its agency team by appointing Tasha Barnes to the newly created role of Brand Experience Director, Freeman EMEA.
Barnes has built her career around relationships. She joins Freeman from BrandFuel, where she held the position of Head of Client Services. During her time there, Barnes played an integral role in establishing a philosophy and infrastructure that put the client at the core.
Barnes also held the title of Global Account Director at WRG, now TCEG, where she was responsible for the management of key client accounts, notably the global Shell account, across multiple projects and executions from design to incentives, conferences to PR campaigns.
Based in Soho, Barnes reports into Claudia Stephenson, VP, Brand Experience at Freeman in EMEA, and will help formulate and implement a client growth and new business development strategy.
Stephenson said: “At Freeman, we create meaningful and impactful brand experiences for our clients. Tasha is a wonderful addition to the Growth team and her innate relationship-centric philosophy to client services will be pivotal as the work we’re doing for our clients continues to grow. Furthermore, Tasha’s knowledge of the industry and proven success positions us as we expand our work beyond just the UK and Europe.
Upon joining, Barnes commented: “What got me really excited about Freeman was that there is such an opportunity for growth and expansion. I am so thrilled to have joined the agency team. I thrive in the kind of nimble and creative environment that our agency business provides, and I am excited about working with the fantastic brands with which we’re already working, as well as bringing new exciting European brands into the business. I am a firm believer that for the type of work we do, we need to think of ourselves as partners to our clients; partners that inspire and challenge each other to do more creative and innovative work in the medium of live.”
Barnes added: “There is a unique opportunity for the agency business at Freeman in EMEA. As part of the wider business in EMEA, our larger global business and its 90-year legacy, Freeman have a great portfolio of services. Our clients are keen to work with a company that can offer a wide variety of services but work with a single partner rather than have to manage several. Freeman is that trusted partner.
