When the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel landed a potential opportunity to host a major international staff event for a leading financial services company, the brand began plans for a walkthrough of the hotel. Hoping to wow this new potential client, Hilton enlisted Freeman to help create a special sample of what the hotel could deliver for the staff event.

Time to transform

The financial services brand was looking for a flexible space that could serve two purposes for employees: an area to work, but also lounge and network. To demonstrate what Hilton could bring to the table, the team worked to create a design that would give a standard sleeping hotel suite an entirely new look and feel, transporting the bank employees to a dynamic, yet comfortable, branded space to both relax and get a bit of work done.

Sleek, chic, and versatile

Our design and fabrication teams worked tirelessly to create an atmosphere akin to a luxury VIP airline lounge. With inspiring, eye-catching graphics, a mix of cool and warm lighting for versatility, and modern furnishings, the welcoming space encouraged attendees to linger and mingle. Our team re-envisioned the sleeping suite to deliver a chic and casual space designed to work from morning to night.

Partnering for major success

This new client was blown away by the possibilities and immediately booked 5,000 room nights for its event. Hilton was thrilled not only with the results, but with the reliable and high-achieving partnership with Freeman. “Today was impressive. We all came together to really show what the hotel had to offer,” said Kellie Ann Cahill, Hilton Director of Sales and Marketing. Patrick Colomer, Hilton Director of Corporate Sales echoed, “All of our efforts really paid off.”
