Martin’s nearly 30 years of experience has given him a true and deep understanding of the brand experience industry.
Martin provides leadership and direction for a unified design-driven sales team throughout North America. Martin aligns the sales organization’s objectives with Freeman’s business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting and budgeting, sales resource planning, and cross-divisional collaboration. Martin works to ensure that the sales organization is ready to address the ever-changing dynamics in the industry. His institutional knowledge, combined with years of leadership positions within Freeman, makes him ideally suited to lead this effort.
Martin helps his clients achieve and exceed their business objectives even when faced with the constant change of the market. He is keenly aware of formulas for success and shares that knowledge with his clients, often helping to implement attendee and exhibitor promotions that provide opportunities for revenue generation. His strong desire for his colleagues’ and clients’ mutual success motivates him to continually find innovative ways to deliver outstanding results.
Martin joined Freeman in 1988, working in sales and management roles with an unwavering dedication to the company and the live events industry. He currently serves on several Freeman executive committees and is an active member of both the International Association of Exhibitions and Events and the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and graduated from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
