Megson’s Hire Will Boost Growth as Events Industry Continues Its Return

Freeman, the global leader in events, announced today the appointment of Jason Megson as new Managing Director of Freeman EMEA.  Megson joins as live events and experiences ramp up in frequency and scale across the region and Freeman experiences significant growth.

A trusted industry expert with over 20 years’ experience at leading independent and global agencies, Megson is passionate about helping great teams and clients thrive together. He was most recently Managing Director of UK & Nordics at George P Johnson, where he doubled the size of the business in just five years.

Megson is also an active sustainability advocate having been instrumental in the establishment and launch of event industry body Isla, a non-profit organisation founded by event professionals and industry leaders focusing on a sustainable future. His expertise and values are well-aligned with Freeman’s commitment to minimise the industry’s carbon footprint by signing the “Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge” at COP26.
