Dallas ─ October 26, 2016 – Freeman, the world’s leading provider of brand experiences, announced today that Margot Carter, an accomplished executive and Lead Director for global public and private companies, has been named to Freeman’s Board of Directors effective immediately.
Carter brings more than 20 years of broad business, strategic, business development, acquisition, legal and technical experience to the Board, spanning several industries. She is the Lead Director and Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee of Installed Building Products, Inc., (NYSE:IBP), a leading installer of building products. From 2010-2015, she was Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary for RealPage, Inc., helping to transform the property management space to become a global leader providing on-demand software and software-related services for multifamily, commercial, single and vacation rental industries enabling clients to outperform the market leveraging the largest and most accurate repository of data in the industry.

Carter received her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from Binghamton University. She studied finance at the Cox Business School at Southern Methodist University and attended the Directors College at Stanford University. She currently serves on the Executive Board and is Membership Co-Chair of the North Texas chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
