Dallas, TX – Freeman, the global leader in events, welcomed Samuel Plotner to its Board of Directors effective November 1, 2023. Plotner is a Director in the Strategic Investments Group at KKR, a leading global investment firm that was the strategic financing partner to Freeman for the Sparks acquisition.

Prior to joining KKR in 2020, Plotner was an associate at GSO Capital Partners where he focused on debt and equity investments across a variety of industries. Plotner started his career as an analyst in the leveraged finance and financial institutions groups at Morgan Stanley.

Plotner also currently serves on the Board of Chord Music Partners. He graduated with Honors from Brown University.
