Networking at Inside Live @AIA

Paired Perspectives: Data & Trends

From understanding exhibitor concerns to uncovering where exhibitors and attendees align (or don’t), the data points from our ongoing research help pave a path for planners to provide more value to everyone, despite differences in age, event type, and objective.

Smart Networking, SmartBadges

We know that attendees always crave thoughtful and interesting networking opportunities. So with that (and you) in mind, we have carefully planned intentional networking into the Inside Live at AIA24 experience.

Based on your responses from the registration survey, we’ve paired you with like minded attendees and mentors throughout the event. Together, you’ll take part in. organized, unique moments of interaction before, during, and after sessions and across a variety of budgets and show sizes.

Tip: Consider incorporating event tech like the Klik SmartBadges you have for ILAIA24 to support intentional networking.

Dine & Dish

Networking experiences don’t have to be complex. We wanted to create a unique way to make connections and the simplicity of the plate match approach accomplished our goal.Plus, rental plates and recyclable serveware made it sustainable, too.

Planning Tip: Instead of using the convention center’s buffet menu at $52 pp, we lowered the budget by creating our own lunch menu. We used the reception activation menus to create a “dine around;” and with the thousands of dollars saved, we invested in the attendee experience by bringing in fun facades along with the Dine & Dish activity.

Networking Activities on a Budget

PSSST! Networking experiences don’t have to be expensive. It’s the thoughtful connections (and easy-to-execute ideas!) that actually make the difference.

The Candy Connections activity offered a budget friendly way to get people talking and snacking together (and a a little sugar rush doesn’t hurt!) . We invested these cost savings into the attendee experience by adding cool decor, accessories, and signage with photo opp to encourage even more interactive fun.
