FreemanXP Wins 3 Marketing Event Awards for Excellence in Brand Experience

FreemanXP has earned 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Awards in the 2018 Marketing Event Awards

SINGAPORE – 28 September 2018 – Freeman, the leading provider of brand experiences, announced today that the company’s agency division, FreemanXP, has earned 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Awards in the 2018 Marketing Event Awards by Marketing Magazine as well as an honourable mention.

The Marketing Event Awards which recognises excellence in event marketing, saw hundreds of entries for 28 categories this year. The top 5 finalists in each category represented the best in creative excellence, successful strategy, and operational precision across Southeast Asia, South Asia and ANZ regions. Being a finalist for nine award categories, FreemanXP was recognised for excellence in Best Event – Arts & Culture, Venue Experience and Branding.

FreemanXP Singapore partnered with Porsche Asia Pacific to create Porsche Sportscar Together Day (SCTD) - a festival that brought to life the world of Porsche and marked the momentous 70th anniversary of the brand. A day where, for the first time ever, Asia’s Porsche fans, petrol heads, families and youths could come together to celebrate the true spirit of Porsche and its passion in the most vibrant city of Asia, Bangkok.

The agency designed a live activation that captured the awareness of an audience beyond Porsche’s customers, with the core offering of ‘Eat Together, Play Together, Sportscar Together’. Bringing together Bangkok’s vibrant food culture, live entertainment by Thailand’s local celebrities and iconic Porsche spaces such as the Porsche Curves Café and Ferry Porsche’s Garage, the event appealed to those who might not be familiar with the brand and became Asia’s largest gathering of Porsche fans and community.

FreemanXP Singapore partnered with Changi Airport Group to deliver an immersive brand experience that highlighted Changi Airport’s passenger-centric approach and position Changi as the world’s best airport — not merely a transit point, but also a destination.

The agency developed the concept and executed the program from 7 to 20 August 2017, in partnership with Changi Airport Group. In keeping with Terminal 4’s high-tech approach and to manage the vast number of visitors (up to 1,200 per hour), FreemanXP devised a smartphone-based self-guided tour that showcase the terminal’s functional aspects and emphasize the brand values of Terminal 4’s tagline: “Fun, vibrant and positively surprising.”

Apart from this, the Changi Airport Group Terminal 4 Open House has also been shortlisted for the Mumbrella Asia Awards’ Best Use of Experiential.
