Thanks to EXHIBITOR Magazine, EXHIBITORLIVE kicks off its 29th annual event at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas next month and we are ready to make every moment count. We all crave industry learning, and EXHIBITORLIVE serves up an educational buffet catered especially for us. The various education tracks mirror the evolving world of events with a packed curriculum (169 sessions!) and offers varied study through interactive classrooms, roundtables, and off-site explorations.

With seven learning tracks that cover hot topics including data, technology, virtual reality, global interests, social media, generational marketing, and more, you can’t go wrong. But we’re particularly keen on sessions scoping virtual reality, which is on everyone’s minds. Tune into this new technology with “Intersecting Vision, Strategy and Technology to Elevate the Attendee Experience” and “Human Innovation Science: It's All in Your Head.” Couple your event tech education with refreshers on the power of data. Exhibit Surveys, Inc. leads sessions on using surveys to measure performance and how data can help you select the right shows.

Take a seat at “Face-to-Face Engagement and Collaborative Creation in the Connected, Digital Era.” In addition to digital changes, there are many factors evolving our industry including the act of exhibiting. Join the discussion about the outlook for exhibits in “What Should Exhibiting Look Like in the Future?” Keeping up with booth evolution also means attracting new leads. Learn how connections on LinkedIn can work for you in “Using LinkedIn for Lead Generation.”

Take it outside

Choose from three different field trip opportunities to take your education on the road. First, take an interactive tour around Mandalay Bay to see what this resort offers as a potential venue. Next, sport your comfy kicks for a jaunt around Vegas to witness what this unique city can teach you about planning experiences. And finally, go “Beyond the Scenes” on a two-part expedition to learn how to apply design thinking to events and exhibitions. Hosted at the Freeman Design Center, this workshop explores designing spaces and graphics to generate engagement, integrating lighting and sound, optimizing space for interaction, cost-saving structures, and leveraging AV with the latest event tech to create emotional connections.
